This part is a direct replacement for the stock turbo heat shield. It is made of 14 gauge 304L stainless steel, therefore it is strong and it won’t rust. It’s simple design allows for a quick and easy installation with any aftermarket downpipe, stock location turbo upgrade or external wastegate option without the cutting that would be required on the stock turbo heat shield.
