Coast to Coast - Our Shop STI

Updated: Mar 21

Started 10 years ago right here at the shop with our team, this STI has been across the country and back as a rolling shell. We got the opportunity to purchase it and finish what was started. Laying down 534WHP and 436TQ, this monster is an experience to look at and drive. Special thank you to YZ Yuan for letting us finish what he started many years ago.

This was a build started by a close friend, YZ who had started building the car before moving to the west coast of Canada and towing it with him. The build sat in a garage for 6+ years untouched before we purchased it and shipped it back home. We needed to wire the car, run the fuel system, build out the interior and source seats, get the car running and some other minor fabrication. The engine had never run since being built, so this was a challenge in itself! We completed a refresh on the motor to be safe.

Many hours went into making the little details function. Running a tune from the man Alex at Boost Controlled Performance in Michigan, we got it running after almost ten years. As a team we felt that the car needed the exterior changed up.. The rear bumper was changed to an authentic ZeroSports, the front to an authentic Cusco with JDM fog lights and the wheels swapped to Work Emotion XD9 wrapped in Toyo R888 tires. Big thanks to our close friend Ryan from Motive Performance for the wrap/livery.

This car has been a staple for our business, and Igor and I's biggest risk/investment(besides the 2002 project) but has opened so many doors and introduced us to some amazing people in the industry. Little additions have been made over the years, but at its core the car is the same and will stay this way.
