Mirm Autoworks co-owner and lead technician/builder Igor Moravac created this all wheel drive monster over 10 years ago and it has been running strong ever since.

Going All Out
Igor hit the ground running, coming fresh off a 2004 STI build. He picked up the car(which at the time was Subaru Crystal Grey Metallic) from New York where it had been in a small front end collision. This was no big deal to us and we dove head first into this fresh chassis.
He dug right into the cosmetics first, picking up one of the first sets of Karlton flares ever produced. He met up with Karlton(creator) behind a grocery store in California while on vacation to make the purchase. Many long hours were spent fitting and molding the flares to the body. The STI then received a set of 18x10 Work Emotion XD9 wrapped in 275/35/18 Falken Azenis and a full lip skirt kit.
A friend offered him the chance to buy a SYMS adjustable carbon spoiler and a set of Sparco Monza seats, which he could't pass up. The build was starting to take shape nicely, but Igor was hungry for more. He wanted the car to have the power to match the exterior setup.
Moving Quickly
Things began to progress quickly as Igor was eager to have the car on the road for the season. He had OAKOS Automotive in Detroit, Michigan build him a solid forged shortblock with all the parts needed to handle lots of power. Looking for a setup, he eventually settled on a rotated twinscroll GT35R turbo kit with a set of equal length headers. After many hours of custom fabrication and assembly, the car was loaded up on and on its way to Mike at Innovating Tuning in Buffalo, New York. The car handled the dyno well and produced a healthy 430WHP and 400TQ.
Happy with how the motor and turbo setup turned out, he directed his focus back to other issues. He was experiencing heavy rubbing problems with the front fender tubs. The motor came out and the fabricator began making custom wheel well tubs while also relocating the cars battery, fuse box and ABS setup.

Looking Forward
The car has been in its current state for almost eight full years now, running flawlessly. Igor is extremely happy with the setup and its reliability. There are no major changes incoming and we are okay with that as the chassis and build are timeless. This is Mirm Auto's flagship Subaru, the original build.
